Help the Hatters Football Programme & Memorabilia Fair - Another Big Success!
Help the Hatters Programme Fair Another Big Success !
Despite the early start, yesterday was a real pleasure turning out at the 1883 Suite for the now annual Help the Hatters Football Programme & Memorabilia Fair.
The event, as usual, was organised by Edd Powell and he did a cracking job of it attracting 18 stall holders to the effort which ran like clockwork . Many of these are regulars and know how good it all is and they were not disappointed with over 140 punters attracted inside the 1883 over the 3 hours.
Help the Hatters made an early decision some months ago to donate all the proceeds from the Fair to the Danny Bergara Statue Appeal, and we are delighted to confirm that the total raised was a brilliant £740.......

.........and we congratulate Edd and all the Help the Hatters team who turned out and worked so hard for this excellent result!
Melanie and David did a terrific job on the Help the Hatters stall which cleared over £200 – a fantastic effort!
Not far away from Mel & David ,Jules & Dave were ensuring light refreshments were available using brew facilities provided by Ralph- top job team!
We were absolutely delighted that Simon Bergara was able to join us and support the event- it gave the Help the Hatters team a great lift to see him there and meet him- an absolute gent!
We did a raffle with some neat prizes and this raised £83.
The winners were as follows:-
Bottle of County Gin – Phil Clarke.
Framed Aerial View EP- Ian Wilson
County Mug- Ian Wilson
Simon Bergara did a great job making the prize draw and presentations for us- thank you Simon!
It was significant that no one dashed for the exit early- most stall holders stayed to beyond 1 o`clock – a measure of the events success!
So …another thank you to Simon ……congratulations again to Edd on behalf of Help the Hatters for another belter… more thanks to the Help the Hatters team for efforts above and beyond ( as usual)…and a final word of thanks to the Club who donated the use of the room to us at no charge- and helped by arranging for a lady to help us clean up early doors with the 1883 in party mode on Saturday ( thanks to this unidentified lady also- great job!)
Here`s to the next time then- do not be at all tempted to miss it!
