Stockport County 0 Alfreton Town 1 ( Vanarama National League- North) 25 August 2018

County went down to their second defeat of the season , losing a frustrating battle against Billy Heath`s collection of bean poles and bruisers, otherwise known as Alfreton Town, 1-0   today at Edgeley Park. The game was frustrating simply because any semblance of flow was cut off at source via a constant series of free kicks occasioned by a multiplicity of fouls by the visitors. Flow disrupted……County tried without success to make an impression as a seemingly endless stream of free kicks came to nought. Team ( Andrew Machin ) This was a shame as JG started with both Bell and Mulhearn ,which   I thought was well worth a try. The Managers ( Andrew Machin )  Bell did put himself about enough to deservedly take the M.O.M award...................   Bell...and company ( Andrew Machin ) ....... but …that said…..County …despite applying much pressure   more than a time or two, never really looked like fin

Club Name:  Kidderminster Harriers                 Aggborough Stadium Hoo Road Kidderminster Worcestershire DY10 1NB Ground Capacity:           6250(3140 seated) Admission Price: ADULTS - £14 O 60/Students £8 16-22   £8 UNDER 16 - £1 S tadium. Aggborough is a decent stadium, well up to staging games at this and higher levels, and with the stewards in good humour and on top of their jobs ,the ingredients were all there for a good afternoon last term. County had the covered terrace behind one goal, and the acoustics under that roof are excellent. Those preferring a seat, had a side on view in the stand to the right of the covered terrace which offers a decent view.  Add the catering facilities, and only a big win would have made things better. Sus tenance! Aggborough is justifiably renowned for the excellence of the catering, and the multiplicity of choices ,food wise, makes a pre match fast in preparation well in order
