Victory Stadium The Victory Stadium is a traditional old style football ground with hopes of bettering itself. County fans are well versed in what to expect at this venue. where  segregation is again likely to be in place. Segregated, County’s main body of support will be housed under the covered terrace roof behind one goal, but will also be lining much of the surrounding terraces, the main stand, and very probably the home end too. It’s a decent place at which to watch a game, and would be even better if the toilet facilities were not so much of a test of endurance and bladder control. Sustenance!   Food at this place is usually top notch- the unit for the home fans ( and those County fans who gained entrance via that route last term), is superior to that in the away end, but I heard no complaints about the food, and old hedgie’s meat and potato pie again hit the spot 2018/19!       Programme.         `Magpie Review’ is a bit of a beast at 66 pages for £2.50 with  good coverage of County and Stockport within its pages.

after 1.6 m  take 2nd exit at roundabout onto A6

then 3rd onto Bolton Street

then left onto Duke Street.

If coming via M6.........

M6( North) to junction 27 (Standish)

Leave motorway, and head toward Wrightington.

Take first turning right (next to garage) into Mossy Lee Road.

Turn right into Boundary Lane (going over motorway bridge).

Carry on along here (road changes to Pepper Lane) to end and turn left onto Preston Road (A49) and head toward Coppull.

Follow signs for Chorley onto Spendmore Lane at first round-a-bout.

Drive along here following signs for Chorley.

Once in Chorley, Spendmore Lane becomes Moor Road and then Pall Mall following traffic lights.

Just after the Plough Inn, turn right into Duke Street, then third right (after School) into Ashby Street.

Ground is on the right.
