Parking
Durham Road and Wood Vue tend to be very congested
on match days so we recommend home and away supporters use the main Car Park
behind the Town Hall or the Leisure Centre, which is a short walk from the
ground. Parking is free. Don’t however use the Iceland / Home Bargains car park
as you are liable to get a fine or clamped after a couple of hours.
Ground Access
Access to the ground is via the Wood Vue turnstiles
just off Durham Road. Disabled access is also available at this entrance.
Bar and refreshment Facilities
The bar is located in the main stand towards the
far end of the ground. Hot and cold, food and drinks are also available beyond
the main stand.
Toilet Facilities
Gents toilets are available before the main stand
close to the turnstiles. Ladies Toilets are situated on the other side of the
stand towards the far end of the ground. Ladies and gents toilets are also
available in the main grandstand – access is through the bar.
On the Tees Crescent side of the ground the newly
refurbished toilet block is now open providing Gents Toilets as well as
facilities for disabled supporters and is suitable for wheelchair access. This
toilet also doubles up as a Ladies Toilet and Baby Changing facilities are also
included.
Please note that access to this side of the ground
is restricted to the Tees Crescent entrance due to the terracing around the
rest of the ground. If you wish to attend a game and you are restricted to a
wheelchair please contact the club in advance and arrangements will be made for
access.

I have found putting info together on
trains to Spennymoor difficult in so far as Spennymoor no longer has a train station.
Getting to Spennymoor thus needs a transfer from Bishop Aukland, and with this taken into account would add an hour or more to the travelling time.
In addition tickets are likely to be £40- £65 range depending presumably on when you travel, so it's your call, and rail buffs will maybe think the extra trouble worthwhile.

Real Ale recommendations close to the ground.....
Just 0.1m away is the Moors Tavern ( DL16 6QH), and it comes very highly recommended........
and ...at 0.2m is the Brewers Arms( BD16 6AG)
