Away Guide to Bolton Wanderers v Stockport County -FA Cup R1 ( Sunday 7 November 2021)
Bolton Wanderers FC
University of Bolton Stadium
Burnden Way
Bolton, Lancashire, BL6 6JW
What a massive pleasure it is to write this after so many years without a visit to BL6 in our season`s fixtures!
Our belated return comes with the added spice of the FA Cup, and it is a game to be hugely looked forward to!
Our record at Bolton`s current venue ( then the Reabok) is good, in fact we are unbeaten having won 1-0 in 1998, 2-1 in 1999 and shared the points with Wanderers in a 1-1 draw in 2001.
So ,County have something to defend as well as look forward to!
Bolton Wanderers have a rich history and their web site gives a highly recommended account here :-

So, with Bolton doing well the season at the right end of League 1, a cracking match is very much in prospect, thus some guidance as to how to get to the University of Bolton Stadium is called for , and again the Wanderers web site comes to our aid here:-

For match tickets COWS have all the info you need here:-

Bearing in mind the close proximity of the first 2 options to the ground and the likelihood of them being where Wanderers fans drink pre match, hedgegrower offers this alternative which , whilst being 0.9 m away is highly recommended:-
