Help the Hatters 11 June
EP Working Party
Over 30 turned out this time, which was absolutely fantastic, and they were joined by James Gannon, his two daughters Eva and Katlin, and County`s Assistant Manager Alan Lord, as they rolled their sleeves up and tackled the tasks in hand. Having so many willing to do a bit really does help and the large party were able to spread themselves over all 4 stands.
The Railway End got a final coating of blue and now looks in tremendous nick. We will need to put some yellow down now on the gangways etc, and of course we need Fitzy to shin up the flag poles and bring the flags down for a pre season clean. Over to you John!
The Danny Bergara Main Stand got some attention and the Disabled Viewing Area ( to my mind the best of its kind in British football- the disabled spectator can actually see the game form a fine vantage point), was given a first coating of paint by Neil and Luke Cheetham, and will look top notch at the seasons start!
Pop and Parfetts Cheadle Stands were also given the treatment and are in line for a touch of yellow in coming weeks!
Thanks then to Alan and James for the encouragement they gave to HtH workers, and of course a mighty big round of applause for the 30+ unsung County heroes!
The next WP is on Tuesday next 18th June starting at 18.30. Please advise Natalie on hancockp1@sky.com or just report to the Main Stand entrance on the night.
Help the Hatters County Yearbook 2013
Andy Birchenough has asked me to thank all the people who have come forward and helped him thus far in putting the Yearbook together, and all those now committed to providing copy , ideas , skills and other essential ingredients for this years issue!
Yes... things are going well it seems and Andy has welded together a dedicated team of enthusiastic Hatters hell bent on making this the best issue ever- belting job Andy!
A sneak preview of the contents then, for your delectation.
In there are some of the usual favourites along with some nifty new items......the Conference North Away Ground Guide ......Player Profiles ....Fixture List....Squad Photo....Several Quizzes..... Pre Season Match Reports ( Probably the first 2 games).....Interviews and Profiles of County favourites current and past, and a Real Ale Guide....etc.....etc...., so it looks like being a cracker!
Next Social Event/Roadshow.
The intent is for this to go ahead on Friday 26th July at the Armoury.
When a firm booking has been made I will confirm with further detail as to the evenings events , which hopefully may include a SCAN presentation or two.
That`s all for now Hatters- catch you Tuesday at EP hopefully!
