An Appeal.
These are
exciting times for County Supporters, and I have never been prouder of being a
part of that grouping than at Fylde last Saturday in the first leg.
Crammed into
the covered terrace behind one goal , the Blue Army, behaved impeccably, and faced
with virtually no barrier at all to
pitch encroachment, declined honourably to take advantage of that fact,
remaining to a man/ woman behind the inadequate barriers.
Move on one
week, and faced with grossly improper and deeply offensive provocation from
Fylde players via sundry mocking goal celebrations, again ….mindful no doubt of
probable FA sanctions that include fines ( previously levied and proved
ineffective) and the ultimate promotion wrecker- points deduction, County fans
again turned up trumps, only for the actions of 2 or 3 individuals to place the
team and Club in real jeopardy again !
I am not
wanting us to adopt the self pitying Millwall stance of `no one likes us` but
there are those abroad who would happily do us damage- let`s ensure they get no
ammunition.
You all have the Clubs best interests at
heart, so please…in what remains of the season….do everything you can to
prevent any further encroachment onto the pitch by these emotional incontinents!
