The Impact Arena is a fairly modest venue and one that offers the travelling fan, a
challenge or two!
Whilst there are some seats available....
.....mostly there is little in the way of cover for County's travelling support which is mainly penned in on the open terrace behind one goal, so bring the waterproofs!

Minimal traffic saw the
Flyer in Alfreton with time to spare last season. The problem was that Alfreton
was closed. Thankfully the pubs were open, and hedgie made his way to the
Victoria ( which he had warned County fans not to visit).
The bar was comfy, the beer OK and the company excellent thus even a visit from the local fuzz could not disrupt the convivial pre-match atmosphere.

Sustenance!
Most supporters visited
the local pubs pre match last time around, but …credit to Alfreton….they did offer County fans
access to the bar at the ground, which along with a far more relaxed approach, to stewarding, was a welcome sign.
The catering facility, as
usual, was surrounded…match long….by humungous queues each with increasingly
more desperate punters seeking some food to sustain them in weather that was
turning from not bad to very much more so!
The usual harassed lady
was serving, supplemented by a second operative, but he was seemingly in charge
solely of moving buns, sausages and burgers about to no apparent useful purpose
so the queues started early and never went away.
Getting there.......
