Blyth Spartans are a very welcome `away day' for season 2017/18 and an enjoyable experience is more or less guaranteed  with Spartans having yet another good season  after last season's outstanding promotion achievement behind them.
Much of the information below has been taken from the Blyth Spartans web site , but the essential elements( the pubs mentioned) have been double checked and only included if  thought OK.....



Admission Prices (League Only)

Adults = £12.00 (£2.00 extra in Port of Blyth stand)
Concessions = £6.00 (£2.00 extra in Port of Blyth stand)
Under 10’s = Free if accompanied by an adult
Programme = £2.00
Getting There
From Tyne Tunnel:

take A19 signposted ‘Morpeth’
2nd roundabout take A189 signposted ‘Ashington’ then continue as below:
From A1:
take A19 signposted ‘Tyne Tunnel’.
2nd roundabout take A189 signposted ‘Ashington’ then continue as below:
From A189:
take A1061 signposted Blyth,
1st roundabout take turnoff signposted A1061 Blyth follow road,
2nd roundabout straight across (A1061),
3rd roundabout straight across (A1061 Town Centre/South Beach),
4th roundabout turn left onto A193 (Ind Estate),
5th roundabout straight across (A193 – Ind Estate),
6th roundabout turn right onto Plessey Road.
Ground now on left.
Team coach take 3rd left (William Street) and reverse into Bishopton Street to ground entrance.

Drinking
If you are heading to Blyth just for the match but would like to partake in a few pre match drinks there are various options open to away supporters for pre match entertainment



The Masons Arms


Situated about 150 metres further up Plessey Road, the Masons is the most popular location, along with the Social Club, for pre and post match drinks. The bar offers a friendly welcome to all visiting supporters and provides entertainment via a pool table, jukebox, dart board, etc. It also offers a wide selection of beers and lagers.

The Wallaw


Situated in the centre of Blyth in the renovated Wallaw Cinema, this Wetherspoons pub offers a wide selection of beers and lagers, hot food and an outdoor area.


Blyth Spartans Social Club, has not been checked out so enter at your peril, but Blyth look to be happy for you to enter so it's there if you feel the need

M62 (to J29)
M1 ( for 10 miles)
A1 (m) for 24 miles
A168  ( for 8 miles)
A19 (inc Tyne Tunnel- for 65 miles)
A189 ( for 2.4 miles)
A1061 ( via A192 exit) for 3 miles
then....
at r`about take 3rd exit B1327
