Away Accommodation.

The Lamb is a fairly Spartan stadium, which can accommodate around 800 visiting specs, with cover available on the terrace, and seats in the main stand as well. There is plenty of parking space alongside the stadium, which has an overly large amount of red paint daubed on it for one such as myself with an aversion to such!
The stewards were as conspicuous as usual at this venue, last time around, but seemed to be a touch less confrontational than is usual too.

Sustenance!

The food vendor, who made a first appearance last season, was on site again and the food was of quite decent quality. The chips looked eatable, and the burgers etc seemed no less so and not excessively priced. As usual….I opted for a hot dog, which was fine, although the onions proved a bit of a challenge-I like ‘em `done to death’ whereas these had been shown the pan and no more!
And….the condiments offered another challenge, as they dared the unwary to partake of them, lined up beside the eatery like so many condimentary sirens!

Condimentary Sirens !

Programme.

The Lambs was a surprising good read, and at £2.50 not the worst value either!Inside the 48 pages were no less than 10 on County, and these were by no means the usual standard pen pics associated with this type of publication.
