Victory Park is an old fashioned but extremely attractive stadium. County fans could sit or stand almost anywhere,  mixing with locals who were friendly, but in view of the home team Manager's unhelpfully feisty...and inaccurate  comments in pre-season, relations this term might be somewhat strained, particularly if the stewards are as high profile as they were 2015/16.
Chorley usually precede the  high viz frisking with an obstacle course. Season 2014/15 it was a case of slithering along an unlit path across a muddy field after alighting the Flyer, but last season ` muddy path 'was replaced by  `murky ginel'...again unlit,

.......so we were suitable softened up ahead of........

Apocalypse Now?   No...Chorley v County !

Sustenance!

Usually ....refreshment come via the Victory Snack Shack, which is a fairly decent spot from which to grab a bite, but last season Chorley had built another catering outlet to the left of the main stand , and this turned out to be equally good and well worth visiting.
