Victory Park is an old fashioned but extremely attractive stadium. County fans could sit or stand almost anywhere,  mixing with locals who were friendly.
Get the unlit muddy path way issue sorted for night games, and the Chorley experience is not a bad one!

Sustenance!

Refreshment was via the Victory Snack Shack, where it was disconcerting to be told that the meat & potato pies were not available, and then to see them being handed out moments later ( after I had gobbled a Mars Bar!). Inevitably...at intervals after this.... I kept hearing fans describing how the pies were ` best yet’ and `must get another’. Where are the Samaritans when you need them most?

Where all the noise came from last season !
Programme.

Magpie Review cost £2.50 and was  a snortingly good mix of current and historic items, all very readable, along with 4 pages on County which included a piece about our great town ,that delved way back in history- really good stuff, and highly recommended!
