SCAN Presentation Event - 1 April 2017

The Bungalow Club was the scene of a small but beautiful SCAN Presentation Event prior to Saturday's game against Nuneaton Town.

The pre match County supporters hub was packed to the rafters by 2.15 , but we only had 2 of the 3 SCAN recipients in the place, namely Lee Bradley and the family of the late County Legend Paul Ware.

The third recipient was to be Gary Walker , County keeper from the 80`s, and time was running out when Gary made a spectacular entrance flanked by dozens of his football team who were on tour from the USA.

The show was up and running , and Marcus Heap reserved perhaps his best ever showing to ensure that , despite time constraints, due attention was paid to doing the event, and the careers of the 3 recipients full justice.

First up was Lee Bradley , and Lee received his SCAN certificate from John Whelan....

Next it was Gary Walker's turn, and after receiving his SCAN  from Buster Whelan....

..... he gave a short but impassioned address to the packed hall.

The finale was full of emotion as Tracey, Laura and Amy,the family of the late Paul Ware, took to the stage to be presented with Paul's certificate by Bryan Thompson....
