York Street’s archetypal old style football ground  saw County fans  housed in the rather decent covered terrace where the local ` ultras’ usually strut their demented stuff last season, but do not be too surprised if we are re-located back to the less salubrious accommodation at the opposite end this season.

Where we were last season...but.....

prepare for this !

There is nothing at all special about York Street except that it is a real football ground – a million…zillion miles away from yer flat pack horror models that proliferate all over the UK.

Sustenance!

Catering at York Street , at either end, is usually reasonably priced and of decent ilk, hedgie heard no complaints whatsoever over the nosh as usual last season.

Modest eatery, but prices & quality fine !
The Pilgrims Bar meanwhile was spacious and welcoming to both sets of supporters, and was packed to the rafters by kick off time. Definitely worth a visit!

Programme.

The 56 pages of `The Pilgrim’ were pretty readable. Priced at a nifty £3 ( `Well….that’s what you charge for yours!’, hedgie was superfluosly reminded) and put together nicely, and not in a rush as some  publications of this type are.
Some of the photos were out of focus, and the publication is not of a handy pocket size, but other than those nit pickings, not a bad buy at all.
