Let`s Hear it For Adama & Benoni !

A short piece, by County Historian Ian Watts ,which  gives this blog the opportunity to join Ian in loudly applauding two young men who have now been capped at full international level whilst with the Hatters.     Congratulations to both County players who, over the last few days, have joined the list of players to feature for their country's senior international team whilst on the books of Stockport County.   Adama Sidibeh.     Adama had already played several times for Gambia before joining us in January, but in a closed door friendly in Turkey on Friday he started against World Cup qualifiers Iran. I’ve travelled up and down the country supporting my team & enjoyed every game. Plus, I’ve met some lovely people along the way, you know who you are.   ( Editor - thanks Angela!)
