Edgeley Park was bathed in warm sunshine today   as a County Supporters team took on one of ex County players in aid of Breast Cancer Charity `Genesis`. The Officials. A crowd of over 200 saw a decent match , and although the ex players ran out 9-2 winners ,much credit accrued to the supporters outfit who battled long and hard to keep the arrears down to a manageable level. Overall considering some of the names in the players line up, it was a top draw effort ! Matt Glennon guested for the supporters , but there was nothing he could do 10 minutes in ,as Paul Ennis squeaked his shot in from an acute angle. Chris Williams on charge...... With Chris Williams and Ennis in lively form, the supporters had their work cut out to keep them out, but keep them out they did ,and they mounted more than the odd raid themselves . Like you I guess, I have been attempting to digest the latest proposals from the F.A . on the future of football in the U.K, launched on the world by Greg Dyke, the man currently number one at `Suits House' . Greg Dyke. The four key proposals are: • A new League Three to be introduced in 2016-17, combining the top half of the Conference and 10 Premier League B sides. • A beefed-up home grown players' rule requiring 13 members of the 25-man squad to have been trained in England as youngsters by 2020-21. • A more strictly enforced work permit system that would prevent Premier League sides from having more than two non-EU players. • A new loan system that will allow Premier League clubs to loan up to eight players to a strategic partner below the Championship.   Supporters show views at Play Offs ! Car Boot Update . Sunday 5th May saw the third of this year`s Car Boot Sales at Booth Street, and it was by a long way the busiest, with over 140 booters selling their various wares. All these had to be shoehorned into the available space on the Car Park along with a multitude of punters eager to buy.   The scene at 06.00 as Booters await the gates opening! The queue formed at 05.45 and a constant stream of cars arriving by the minute, throughout the 7 hour slog, made for an interesting time for the early birds of Help the Hatters. Shunning publicity, Angela tells Blog Hack, Nigel Farago off !
