The Horsfall Stadium isn`t even a decent athletics facility, in my opinion, so it follows that it is bobbins as a football venue. There is plenty of decent seating available in the stand, but this is situated beyond the running track and needs very superior eye sight indeed on the part of specs, to get value!
Other than the stand you could risk double pneumonia whilst standing around the edge of the track at a cold magnet only bettered by the Bescot ( or whatever it is called today) and Fratton Park in February.

Sustenance!

There were pies, and stuff, and I saw plenty wandering around munching contentedly on a portion of Chips ,Peas and gravy, which was vouchsafed as ` fine’ by no less a soccer grub gourmet than Fitzy !

Fitzy carbo loading !
The thing the catering unit on site does best though is....queues.....they major on queues. It`s not that the food`s that great, that the queues form.....it`s the one person serving that does it!

Queue`s a speciality !

The queues were ginormous again last season, and it was pitiful to see droves of grown men give up in despair and opt for wind whipped hunger rather than continue a pointless wait!
