Next Car Boot

After advising you that the original date of August 4, had fallen foul of a Council double booking, the date now set and agreed is Monday 26th August- there is a game that day but the Car Boot will be well finished by that time. Please contact Angela if you can help on the day at angela.moore53@ntlworld.com or phone or text 07867856394.

Edgeley Park Working Party

This Tuesday`s working party clashed with County`s game at Ramsbottom but despite this over a dozen turned out and ,amongst other things, updated the seat numbering details, finished the steps in Pop Side and Main Stand, The Control Room and even the Directors box got a splash!
Due to games starting at EP, the next Working Party will be Tuesday August 6, commencing at 18.30. The exterior to EP in Hardcastle Road is the target and a mega quantity of paint has been obtained for the purpose. Make a note of the date in your diary folks!

Blog.

This is flying now having topped 5000 page views by Tuesday of this week, and clocked up 2700 in the 7 days to the same date.
Thank you for your support and please keep it up, there will be match reports for every County game, home or away, posted to the site http://hedgegrower.blogspot.com within 24 hours of the game finishing.
In addition new recruits Adrian Caville and Graham Privett posted their first articles and great stuff they were as well. There will be more from them as we wend our way through the season and from Pauline Coddington, whose first offering will be on line Monday next August 29- I have seen the draft...it`s a cracker!

Finance and Help the Hatters

We are pleased to note that the initiative taken by them in enabling the signing of Rhys Turner has been followed by some cracking form on the field by this excellent young player. As said before....Club and player should prosper from the mutual association. Help the Hatters were happy to facilitate this , and have continued, as the previous 12 Updates testify,to involve themselves in projects that benefit the Club and its supporters.
All this is expensive, and whilst many of our events raise valuable moneys, we still have to rely on  donations big and small from supporters to supplement this income so that we can maintain our current level of activity.
We recently incorporated a `Donate Button' on the Blog .This is run via PayPal and any donation goes into Help the Hatters  account. The only deduction being 1 and one quarter % plus 0.20p per transaction, by Pay Pal . Please, if you can, support this. Also just visiting our sister site Vital County at www.stockport.football.co.uk  earns HtH some income- that`s just a quick visit...no click on an ad needed...dead easy.In addition we will be running raffles and bucket collections ,so please consider supporting one or other of these initiatives and accept Help the Hatters thanks!

And finally.......

Congratulations to Rhys Turner who was 18 this week, Help the Hatters wishes him a very happy birthday and a goal filled season!
